In May 2025, we designed and built a true man cave centered around a custom golf simulator. The client wanted a dedicated space to practice year-round, relax with friends, and enjoy top-level technology at home. Our team delivered a one-of-a-kind retreat built for entertainment and performance.
The client had an unfinished basement with plenty of space but no structure or atmosphere. He wanted a room that combined serious golf simulation, home theater features, and enough comfort for both solo practice and group events. He needed everything to look sharp, function flawlessly, and stand out from any basic media room.
We started by measuring clearances for full-swing golf and screen projection. We designed custom wall and ceiling treatments to optimize acoustics and reduce sound transfer. The simulator bay uses commercial-grade turf and impact screens with a raised platform. We installed smart lighting, integrated A/V systems, and built-in shelving for clubs and gear. Durable luxury vinyl plank flooring ensures the space is easy to maintain while still looking high-end. All features were selected for comfort, durability, and style.
Highlights include an oversized projection screen, blackout window treatments, and a dedicated lounge zone with theater seating. Smart controls allow easy switching between golf simulation, movie mode, and music. Wall-mounted club racks and hidden storage keep the space uncluttered. The finishes blend performance with a modern, masculine look.
The finished man cave is now the favorite spot in the house. The client uses it daily for golf practice and often hosts friends for sports events or movie nights. The project added value, flexibility, and a personal edge that turns the basement into a true destination.
