These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the KC Flooring n’ Beyond website and services. By using our site or hiring our team, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Scope of Services
We provide residential and commercial flooring services including installation, removal, and repair across Georgia. The specific scope, deliverables, and expectations for your project will be outlined in your written estimate or service agreement.
2. Quotes & Estimates
- All estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.
- Estimates are not binding until a signed service agreement or deposit is received.
- Pricing may change due to market fluctuations in material costs, unforeseen site conditions, or customer-requested changes.
3. Deposits & Payment
- Some projects may require a non-refundable deposit to secure materials or scheduling.
- Final balances are due upon completion unless a different payment schedule is documented.
- Accepted payment methods: cash, check, ACH, or approved electronic payment (e.g., credit card, Klarna, Afterpay).
- Late payments may result in additional fees, interest, or suspension of work.
4. Scheduling & Cancellations
- You may reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours’ notice.
- No-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee.
- Project schedules may be delayed due to weather, material backorders, labor shortages, or conditions outside our control.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Clients are responsible for providing safe, accessible, and clear workspaces.
- All valuables, electronics, and furniture should be removed unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Clients must communicate any relevant site conditions (e.g., moisture issues, hazardous materials, hidden wiring, or pets on premises).
- Failure to disclose material site issues may void warranties or result in additional charges.
6. Warranties & Limitations of Liability
We warrant our workmanship for [insert warranty period, e.g., one year] from the date of completion. Product/material warranties are provided by their respective manufacturers.
KC Flooring n’ Beyond is not responsible for:
- Pre-existing conditions or structural issues unrelated to our scope of work
- Damage due to customer-installed products, neglect, improper maintenance, or misuse
- Delays or defects caused by suppliers, shipping carriers, or force majeure events
**Our total liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or property value.**
7. Intellectual Property
All website content, images, designs, and logos are the exclusive property of KC Flooring n’ Beyond. No content may be used or reproduced without express written permission.
8. Marketing Use
Unless you specifically request otherwise in writing, photos of completed projects may be used for marketing purposes (portfolio, website, social media, print). No personally identifying client details will be shared without consent.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The “Effective Date” above will always reflect the most recent version.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Georgia.
