Warranty Policy
Effective Date: August 3, 2025
At KC Flooring n’ Beyond, we stand behind the quality of our work. This Warranty Policy explains what’s covered, what isn’t, and how to request service if there’s ever an issue.
1. What’s Covered
We provide a one (1) year limited warranty on labor and installation from the date your project is completed. This warranty covers:
- Workmanship defects such as uneven installation, loose edges, or adhesive failure
- Problems that are directly caused by installation errors made by our crew
If we determine that an issue is covered under this warranty, we will repair it at no additional cost to you.
2. What’s Not Covered
The following are explicitly excluded from this warranty:
- Damage from moisture, flooding, plumbing leaks, or improper site drainage
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, fading, or stains from daily use, furniture, or pets
- Cracks or movement caused by shifting subfloors, foundation issues, or structural settling
- Damage from improper cleaning, chemicals, or neglect
- Material defects (covered by the manufacturer—see below)
- Any modifications or repairs made by others after project completion
3. Manufacturer Warranties
Most flooring products carry their own manufacturer warranties covering defects, fading, or premature wear. We will provide documentation or proof of purchase to assist with any manufacturer claim.
4. How to File a Warranty Claim
To start a claim, email warranty@kcflooringga.com with:
- Your name and the service address
- The date your project was completed
- Photos and a description of the issue
Our team will review your claim within 3 business days. We may request an on-site inspection before approving repairs.
5. Limitations & Additional Terms
- This warranty is **non-transferable** and applies only to the original purchasing client.
- No warranty applies if the project was not paid in full.
- KC Flooring n’ Beyond reserves the right to determine if a claim qualifies under this policy.
Our goal is to deliver a result you’re proud of—if something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to resolve it, within the limits outlined here.
