In June 2025, Oink Joint BBQ in Newnan called on KC Flooring N' Beyond to transform their restaurant floors. The goal was simple but demanding: refinish, repair, and unify surfaces across old and new areas, creating a consistent look that would hold up to heavy traffic and daily use.
Oink Joint faced patchwork surfaces after years of service and several remodels. High-traffic zones showed wear, some spots needed full repair, and new spaces had raw hardwood ready for install. The owners wanted a cohesive, professional finish throughout the restaurant, but every area needed a slightly different approach. The job required expert surface prep, advanced stain-matching, and zero downtime during business hours.
We started by mapping the traffic patterns and assessing each section for damage or uneven wear. Our team scheduled all work outside of peak business hours to avoid interruption. We repaired subfloors as needed, sanded down old finishes, and installed new hardwood where required. Every plank and patch was then meticulously sanded and prepped for stain. Our techs custom-mixed stains on site, testing samples until we found a perfect match that blended old and new wood. The final finish was applied with commercial-grade sealant for lasting durability and easy cleaning.
