Education, Renovation, Flooring
In June 2025, KC Flooring N' Beyond partnered with The Heritage School in Newnan to upgrade the cafeteria floors. The school needed a modern, durable solution to replace worn laminate tiles and handle daily student traffic.
The original laminate tile floors had reached the end of their life. They showed visible wear, had loose sections, and created cleaning challenges for staff. The school needed a flooring upgrade that would look sharp, hold up to heavy use, and be quick to install without long closures.
We coordinated closely with the school to minimize disruption and ensure safety. Our team removed all old laminate tile, then inspected and prepped the concrete subfloor to achieve a smooth, solid base. We repaired cracks and leveled low spots to ensure the new floor would last. The selected LVP (luxury vinyl plank) was chosen for its durability, low maintenance, and clean appearance. Installation was scheduled to fit the school’s timeline and all work areas were left spotless at project close.
The new LVP floor features a natural wood-grain pattern that brightens the cafeteria and resists scuffs and spills. All transitions are seamless for safety and visual appeal. The material offers easy daily maintenance, which frees up staff for more important tasks. Each plank was installed with precision to ensure long-term performance and a professional finish.
The Heritage School’s upgraded cafeteria now looks and feels new. Students, staff, and parents have praised the refreshed space. The floors are easy to clean and hold up well to constant foot traffic, making them a smart investment for the school’s future. This project demonstrates how targeted renovations can improve everyday life in educational settings.
For schools and learning environments, durable floors make a difference. The Heritage School project proves that quality materials and expert installation deliver results students and staff notice every day.
